I read some diet books...and go in pretty skeptical. However, this book has some good information to take with you. First, it's not really a DIET per se. It's more a recommendation for adding more fiber to your diet...which in turn fills you up more and will naturally suppress your appetites for... ...more

This is not the typical American fad-diet book, and it's not a hard concept to grasp. It is actually very simple: drink a lot of water, eat a lot of high-fiber foods, and if you are eating high-fat/high-calorie food, have the high-fiber stuff FIRST so by the time you get to the 'bad' stuff, you w... ...more

The Full Plate Diet by Stuart Seale, Teresa Sherard, and Diana Fleming. This is a simple diet which might be effective. It requires minimal changes in your lifestyle, and has no fancy complex recipes. The hard part of the diet as with any diet plans is self control. Can you train yourself to stop... ...more

This book was really good. I don't think it would be good enough if you were already pretty sick and wanted to get healthy - I don't think it goes far enough, but for people who just want to get healthy or lose weight this book would be really great. It was a breath of fresh air in a world of Zon... ...more

Totally awesome and reasonable diet book. It gave me easy and simple things to ADD (yes, a diet that ADDS to your food intake!) fiber-y foods to my diet so I get filled up. Did you know that respberries and kiwis kick butt when it comes to fiber content? I can most definitely eat more of those!

I... ...more

Nice graphics, good information but not a lot of it. Some people will find this book to be motivational and instructive. I finished this book thinking that it was rather insubstantial, although well-designed. If you are thinking about buying the book, I recommend checking it out from the library... ...more

This is a good book for people who are just starting to work on healthy eating, for people with a good grasp this might be to... ...more
