Are Cyber Monday Deals Better Than Black Friday Deals?

Ecommerce

Cyber Monday attracts increasingly more individuals every year. Shop.org, an association of
retailers that sell online and a part of the NRF, is the one that first used the term in 2005. The
expression was coined on the basis of a 2004 research showing that the Monday rigtht after
Thanksgiving is one of the major online shopping days of the entire year. The considerable
increase in Internet activity and sales on the Monday immediately after Thanksgiving is believed
to result from consumers trying to carry out their Holiday shopping on the first day they resume
work where they can use higher-speed and more efficient Internet connections than what they
have at home. However, conditions now are very different from those of the past. Today, many
residences already have speedy Internet than when Cyber Monday started, which made us ask:
Do Cyber Monday offers still offer excellent value.
Doorbusters
In the last two to three years, many shops have been selling Black Friday doorbusters in physical
shops as well as online. The number of shops that provide both in-store and web-based shopping
options on Black Friday are still fewer than those that offer doorbusters only in physical places
of business. Furthermore, not all shops join during Cyber Mondays. However, these numbers are
steadily expanding. With these in mind, it's likely that you will discover more killer deals online
on Black Friday in comparison to Cyber Monday. Then again, products such as electronic
devices and household appliances generally have deeper discounts on Cyber Monday. It is not
surprising to come across gadgets sold at 20% lower than their suggested price at retail during
Cyber Mondays. Thus, if you are looking for game consoles or tablets, defer your purchase until
Cyber Monday.

Free stuff
Keepsakes and giveaways are common in physical retailers during Black Fridays. If you are a
consumer who don't mind battling the crowds to obtain these freebies, then it pays to go to shops
in person. But, if you can do without those freebies, then shopping online on Black Friday or
Cyber Monday, which is far more convenient, is a much better deal.
Simple Shopping and Free Shipping
Buying online will mean not battling thousands of shoppers for heavily
discounted products. Apart from being convenient, several online
stores that join Black Friday and Cyber Monday will provide free
shipping. Some retailers have a minimum price requirement which you
need to satisfy before you can have your purchased items sent to your
house for free, so remember to inspect their shipping policies before buying these discounted
goods.
All factors taken into account, cyber monday electronic deals seems to offer almost an equivalent
value and convenience as shopping on the web on Black Friday itself. However, if you are
looking for appliances and consumer electronics, prices tend to be better on Monday after
Thanksgiving.
