Basics of Plumbing
Plumbing is based on the basic commandments of nature- pressure, gravity, and water looking for its
own level. When you know this, you can understand the mystery of plumbing and fix dozens of issues in
the faucets or pipes of your house, which will let you save money, time, and trouble.
Usually, the plumbing system comprises of two subsystems. One subsystem is meant to bring in fresh
water and the other is meant to take out the waste water. Water coming into the house is under some
pressure so that it can travel around corners, upstairs, or wherever it is necessary. As water reaches the
house, it goes through a water meter that notes the amount of water you use. Main water stop, valve,
or shut off is usually placed near the meter.
