It seems that even in a down economic period, more people would rather invest in their locks
than their stocks. An online survey conducted in 2009 by the International Society of Hair
Restoration Surgery found that 59.8 percent of people who were asked whether they would
rather have more hair, more money or more friends chose more hair. Yet an estimated 80 million
American men and women suffer from male or female pattern hair loss .
