The Procedure
During the initial consultation, your practitioner will perform a test spot procedure to ensure
suitability for treatment and determine the optimum treatment settings. Depending on the
intended application, gel or oil will be applied to the treated area and the relevant applicator
will be used to determine comfort and skin response. After the evaluation is complete and
assuming suitability for treatment, the practitioner will schedule the treatment course.
During the treatment, you will experience dual sensations of hot and cold temperatures on the
surface of your skin. The integrated skin cooling mechanism ensures that the temperature of
your skin is maintained throughout the treatment duration.
How Many Treatments Will I Need?
The number of treatments depends more on the actual procedure, and not the body part. For
example, skin tightening on the face is between 3-6 treatments, with some patients even seeing
results after the first session. ReLift, a unique protocol that is for the neck and jowl line is up to
9 treatments. Cellulite and body contouring treatments are between 6-8 treatments.
How Does It Combat Cellulite?
The deep tissue heating, which takes place as part of the procedure, increases the metabolic
breakdown in the superficial fat layer and helps diffuse oxygen in the cells.
At the same time, the vacuum therapy intensifies the treatment to facilitate deeper
penetration of heat, stimulate lymphatic drainage and enhance the elasticity of the membrane
between the fat cells.
The treatment is suitable for multiple areas of the body, including the buttocks, thighs,
abdomen and underarms. A course of six sessions is recommended for optimal results.
